Overview
The Page Break macro will sound very familiar. Its works by moving content below the page break onto the next page when using Eigen PDF functionality.
You may find you want to split content onto to pages and the Page Break is how you do it.
Using the template macro to create reports also uses the PDF functionality so its a macro thats widely used in the platform.
Using a Page Break
To use the macro there a few things we need to consider:
- Where do we want to split the page
- How have you laid your page out - Page Layout
Placing a Page break into your page will break any content below it. However:
- If you have used multiple sections in your page like above. Then everything with in the section will be broken on a new page.
- If the page break was placed below the chart macro in the top section in the above image. It would have no affect on the content in the sections below.
