Overview
Displays aggregate information, ideal when managing a large number of assets with lots of data. It is a powerful navigable view to show both data values and relationships. It is used where lots of data and/or assets need to be managed in single view and manner, enabling users to quickly identify issues that require attention from a plethora of assets.
The sunburst is a visual representation of a hierarchy, with the root, or main object in the centre and then child/related objects radiating outwards. All items in the sunburst are interactive and will show the Common Menu for an object if right-clicked. If you left click you will zoom in to that object and it will become the center of the sunburst.
It is accessed by either:
- right clicking on an asset (in search, or on a KPI)
- by adding a
to a page - clicking the
sunburst icon next to an asset in the Basket
By default it opens and follows the equipment hierarchy but you can change this using the Advanced Sunburst
You can filter out different objects using the legend on the right hand side
Using the options in the settings menu you can colour objects by status:
Or only highlight those with an active alert.
If you right-click on the shopping basket icon in the sunburst you get three options:
- Add tags to basket: this will add just the directly connected tags
- Add related tags to basket: this will add all the tags of the child objects as well
- Add all tags to basket: this will add all the historian tags in the whole sunburst to the child objects
