Eigen macros allow the user to view asset information in a efficient manner.  They provide views of measured and meta data from a large collection of assets. They enable users to see the current and historical state of a plant, typically for real time and historical data of physical process operations .  The macros are not limited to process operation data and can be applied to a broad data set including production data, maintenance data, calculations, weather, personnel and news feeds to name a few.
